I use the backcomb & crochet method with no nasty waxes or harsh chemicals. I love my job! I love everything about it, making new connections, playing awesome tunes, chatting about everything and anything that comes to mind (to take your mind off of the pain) haha. More importantly, I truly enjoy the work i do. You will feel at ease around me in my lovely home studio.

New Dreadys
Creating new dreads is a very exciting experience, one you won't likely be forgetting anytime soon. A healthy aftercare routine as well as ongoing maintenance after your first appointment are key to properly forming your new locks. I'll send you home with all the knowledge necessary to feel confident about your new do.
Dreadlock Maintenance
Maintenance! Though it can be rough it is crucial for the forming process depending on how tidy you want your dreads to look. Having maintenance done can be a gruelling experience, I try to minimise the amount of pain you'll feel during your booking. I pride myself on a job well done and to have you leave the studio smiling is my main goal.
Styling
We can style your new look, adding an array of beads, clips, jewels or whatever you'd prefer to add to your dread babies.
Whole head deep cleanse
Let's face it, our dreads can get a bit tired sometimes and can need a freshen up! Teaming up with Dread Empire I have the deeply cleansing soaks you need ready on hand so we can give your locks a deep cleanse if needed. You'll leave feeling fresh and revitalised! Or you could purchase a bag of soak and take it home with you, along with other shampoos and dread products.
Dread Wraps
Recommended for mature dreads only, dread wraps are a fun way to get creative & add some original flair to your established dreadys
Peekaboos
If you're unsure about committing to a full head and you just want to try a few on for size. How about just dreading your lower half-head, or we can create a mad viking style dreadhawk, or a gorgeous bottom row of peekaboo dreadlocks? We can add as many or as little as you like ♡
Dreadlock repair
Dread repair for thinning or weak dreads, We can strengthen your locks by adding extra hair and crocheting it in or by simply crocheting your locks in a way that will strengthen them.
Dreadlock Extensions
Extensions allow you to wear a beautiful full set of locs, even if your hair isn't at your desired length. With human hair or synthetic dreadlock extensions we can create a full set of permanent or semi permanent dreads by dreading them into your already established dreadlocks. Similarly we can braid temporary synthetic dreads or extensions into your undreaded hair if you're on the fence about committing to dreadlocks yet.
I also have a colourful variety of double ended woolen extensions available for $10 per piece. They are simple to install and can easily spice up your look, they are not permanent. All woolen extensions are made by a quality source in Tasmania and are created with ethically sourced marino wool.
Shaving
I can offer a fresh or a new shave if you'd like and if you're looking to cut your dreadlocks to shorten their length, we can do that also.
